The game thinks it should unload things that are still on camera view, creating flashing models coming in and out of existence, including some characteristics of the main characters and the scenario behind the camera, and worse when the camera is inside a non collision based object.Īnd that's pretty much it. Frustum and Collision Culling in this game works very sloppily. specially notable when aiming to grind spots and flight rings. Side Jumping Ramps (Like the ones in metal city and Sand Ruins) can lead to weird undesirable angles rather than fixed jumps. As its only a demo is hard to describe what should be worked on and what should not, as its easy to step over irrelevant or known information, but these are the only main issues i had with this game: Plays smoothly and responsively, very similar to the first game (maybe somewhat faster?) bringing analog based tricks back and the air meter with some tweaks and qof changes, like boost holding. Sonic ( Super Sonic) | Tails | Knuckles | Amy | Jet | Wave | Storm | Dr.Amazing proof of concept of a new and modernized version of Sonic Riders, which promises stage builders for the fans entertainment and more content ports from both zero gravity and the OG game.
SONIC RIDERS PC CONTROLLER SETUP FULL
Notably in this mode, all players ride around at slow speeds and cannot perform Gravity Control to the full extent compared to the game's regular gameplay. The number of Hit Points each player starts with can be set to 3, 6 or 9. The last remaining player or the player with the most Hit Points after 10 minutes wins. In Sudden Death, a player loses one Hit Point each time they are hit. The time limit can be set to 3, 5 or 10 minutes. The player with the highest number of points within a time limit wins. In Points Battle, each time a player successfully hits another, a point is awarded to that player. There are two different modes: Points Battle and Sudden Death. The criteria to win Survival Battle varies on the Rules Settings of the game set by Player 1. If a player is targeted (which is signified by a lock-on target surrounding their character), they must take evasive action. If an attack is successful, the word "HIT" will be displayed on the screen. If the player does not aim, the missiles will simply fly across the arena in a straight trajectory which are unlikely to hit opponents.
While aiming, a lock-on target appears on the player's screen which is the moment that the player has to release the input for performing Gravity Control. However, the player must take aim at an opponent to ensure that the missile hits. Once the player has a Missile(s), they must use Gravity Control to launch them in order to attack opponents. In Survival Battle, players ride around a field and collect Missile power-up items from Item Boxes. It is playable with up to four players and is always played with four characters, with the computer controlling the remaining characters. Survival Battle is one of three special games in Survival Mode of Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity.
